As far back as I can remember, I was practicing my handwriting. But for years, I was a Jane of all trades… dabbling in many art forms, not just calligraphy.
I studied graphic design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and then took a job as a designer for Hallmark Cards. There, I gained a real appreciation for the way that cards sent through traditional mail still carry so much emotion.
After a couple years in front of a computer, I was craving a hands-on experience. I found my perfect match at the store Anthropologie, where I became a Display Coordinator. Creating their window displays let me dye, saw, build, prop, sew, paint, you name it. I eventually became Senior Display Coordinator of the flagship Rockefeller Center store, where I oversaw the visual teams and prototyped displays for the company nationwide.
One of the responsibilities I always kept for myself was making the in-store signage by hand. The more calligraphy I did, the more requests I got. Before long, I was doing the envelopes for my friends’ weddings, then their friends’ weddings, and then the Art Director of Martha Stewart Weddings. That’s when I knew. I’d found my true calling.

original return address ............................................................... $100
i write several version and provide high-res scans to you and your design sent via email.
return address rubber stamp ....................................................... $ 175
after you choose the address you love, i create it as a reusable rubber stamp. this is a great alternative to having your address printed on the back flaps of your envelopes.
